    A NOTE TO Mr. Muhidin Issa Michuzi

    Hello Michuzi,

    I am aware of your busy schedule — doing journalism and crisscrossing the world with world leaders — but I will appreciate if possible for 4 or 5 minutes of your time we can meet next time you are in New York (USA) area. On September 25, 2014 I attempted to reach your Team through Tanzania mission NYC, but I was quickly informed that there were no plans to meet Tanzanians in NY and that the schedule was full.

    Michuzi, just like many Michuzi’s blog readers I have never met you before but I would like to tell you that Tanzania raised me, ‘tokea shule ya vidudu mpaka kidato cha sita’ in fact there isn’t a single day that pass that I am not reminded of Tanzania, I will never ever forget this. So with life come many challenges. Only because of some personal life struggles I had to endure, I postponed much of the work I want to do. But I must say that even along with some serious life disappointments and in some cases in times of despair and hurting, reading the content in Michuzi blog has been such a joy, probably your blog may have even saved lives a couple of times. For this, I personally cannot thank you enough for the good work that you and your Team repeatedly have been bringing to all of us. For some of us the blog has been and is the only meaningful source for updated news from Tanzania.

    Then there comes a time where life has to move forward and upward.

    Even if we cannot meet, please reply.
